DoggoBrick Lore & $APE Payment
At DoggoBrick, we’re always trying to find new ways to add value to our project. Recently, we’ve been inspired by BAYC and their recent announcements about the Otherside (trailer below) and $APE. So, we decided to create our own lore where we position DoggoBrick as the first collectible figure in the Otherside (read our lore!) We also want to be first project to use $APE as a viable payment option during our pre-sale event and mint date. That’s it for now and stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to our mint date!
DoggoBrick Lore
In the Otherside, the apes are bored and rich, and are tired of day trading on the BASE (Bored Ape Stock Exchange). Sitting on a pile of $APE, these apes often wonder if there’s more to life than money.
A lone pilot carrying a cargo of goods reclines back in his captain’s seat, steers the plane with his feet, and lights a cigar. A system error alarms the pilot and he leaps toward the emergency side hatch. He grabs a parachute and jumps out of the plane into the darkness. As the plane nosedives, a sea of packages fall into the heavily forested terrain below. Several of them fall into the river and make their way to a swamp.
A bored ape leans back on his chair holding a fishing rod without purpose or joy. He looks up at the stars, and remembers how much joy he had collecting toys as a young ape. He recasts his fishing rod and feels a heavy tug at the end. He braces himself as he reels up his prize: a Star Wars-like toy figure. He looks up and notices other packages and fishes them all out and brings them inside his humble abode, placing the figures on an empty shelf. Other apes start to hear of “the Collector,” and visit him to see his collection, DoggoBrick.
